new home
Well the place we'd booked into turned out not to be available and what we were given was not going to work for the retreat, despite Jacqueline doing an amazing job cleaning the place.
So we looked around and found a lovely place that is much larger, more modern, and set in 3/4 acre of land over- looking the loch and mountains! And the best part is that it is also cheaper, meaning we can stay here until May 14 if we want to! And unlike where we stayed in Texas, this place is for sale, so we have prayed of course!
We're settling in and catching up on resources, accounts and looking for a new internet server! There is a good local church our friends lead so we have somewhere to worship and fellowship. Finally we are off the road!

drive to scotland the long way round!
The long way round took 915 miles over 3 days.... but there was a reason! All the resources were in Torquay, Devon, which meant a drive from London to Torquay and then via Exeter to see some good friends, and up to Manchester to see David's parents. After some emergency dentist treatment, it was another 7 hours and 40 minutes of driving from Manchester to the cottage! Sadly most of the really good scenery was done in the pitch black of a Scottish night, but at least the roads were empty and we're here now!

David spoke at 5 sessions over the weekend at a Restoration and Transformation weekend at a small Baptist church. It was a great time and the Sunday morning had one of the most powerful ministry times that there has been. 3 hours of personal ministry and many healings and deliverances later, there were changed marriages, youth impacted, and the church in a new place! A VERY special weekend.

Two days after landing in London, with the cars back on the road and a long visit to the storage unit to get the winter clothes and things we need for Scotland, David went to a prophetic & end time conference with Paul Keith Davis and other speakers. The resource sales were good and the messages were excellent.
It was amazing to land in France, where they speak German, for a conference in Switzerland, with an Italian worship group, singing songs in English!! It was wonderful to see some of our partners there and to spend time blessing each other! Looking forward to next year's conference now!

The School carries on and it really good, though the editing of the messages is taking much longer than we thought it would, so there will be work to do back in the UK during November. The church did a play about the Song of Solomon which was excellent, and the teaching has changed us both
It's been wonderful to spend so much time there this year and we certainly feel like family. We love being there and am praying about spending time there next year.

We are here in White Oak, Texas for 5 weeks, re‐visiting the church and friends we saw in April and May. Jacqueline is going to be attending the school of ministry here for a month, whilst David helps them with the sound, recording the school sessions, and develops the means for them to produce resources internally.
This is the view from the place the Lord has provided for us to live out in the countryside, and a car to use during the visit. It is SO quiet and peaceful........ pity it's not for sale!!

We are “house‐sitting” for a great friend as she has gone on holiday! Amongst all the work duplicating the recordings from RIVERcamp, we had a great time seeing family and friends. David spoke Sunday morning on "The Narrow Place" at Bethany too before we drove back to London.

a BIG thank you for praying for the resources sales at RIVERcamp. We were really blessed to get messages from different ones saying they were or had been praying for us, and even someone at the camp came told us they’d been praying for and over the resources too! You’d have enjoyed watching David spend three days doing one long “steps” routine up and down on a chair trying to get a wireless signal for our card machine from the middle of a field!! At the end, sales had improved over last year in the current economic challenges! THANK YOU JESUS!!

Most of David’s time was spent preparing for RIVERcamp and making sure all the resources we needed arrived from around the world, and printing duplicating all the forms and teaching sets we would need.
David ended up speaking at three meetings in the city. Before the first meeting, the Lord told a pastor as he was preparing to come leave home, to invite the speaker that night to his church on Sunday morning! Before David spoke at his church that day (he didn’t even know David’s full name!!) he announced they were closing their mid‐week meeting and everyone was to go to the regional event to hear David speak!

We've just spent 10 fun days with David’s sister and enjoying family life with them. 
So much
happened it’s hard to know where to start, but some of the highlights would be: (a) David getting pushed into their swimming pool by Jacqueline much to the delight of the children; (b) being able to see the annual Battle of the Flowers parade and floats both in the daytime and at night; (c) travelling the whole way around the island visiting all the bays and pretty villages; (d) taking Joshua and Megan out for the day to the cinema and crazy golf!; and not to mention the walks, finding large fish in rock pools, Saturday surfing lessons (them not us!!), and a high speed boat trip to islands off the French coast! VERY happy days!

We arrived back in England at the end of July and stayed with “Bob the Builder” and his wife. We shared his testimony of helping us move and his business exploding with work after that. He told us on Monday that work is still flooding in he’s booking March 2010 now! More Lord!! It was a great time of fun, laughter and recovering from all be ministry in Singapore.

*** NEWSFLASH ***
November is not going to be New Zealand after all, but the Scottish Highlands and we are excited too!! In the May David felt a very strong call from the Lord to withdraw with Him to study, write and seek the Lord for months.
The Lord spoke to him two weeks ago, about contacting our friends David & Heather in Scotland because they would know someone with a place that we were to rent for at least 5 months. They did and we are renting a 3 bedroom quiet farm cottage at 50% off the market rate for a smaller home, including all the heating and electricity (normally extra), and they are leaving the internet and phone lines active for us as well. And they wished they could have done more!!

The best way to sum up this visit would be EXTREMELY CHALLENGING! Certainly the most demanding and most opposed ministry trip we have done to date and frankly we hope forever!! So much has happened during the two weeks before we arrived and the five weeks we have been here.
The School was very intense for the first three weeks until we started the inner healing section the final two weeks. So it ended up two weeks on the Signs of the Times/What the Lord is doing/ saying in the earth at the moment; followed by one week focused Personal Restoration and Transformation; and then two weeks of inner healing.
Last Friday night, the presence of the Lord came in so strongly that people were getting slain in the spirit and healed in a certain area of the room, and even as they walked forward for prayer – the easiest ministry times we’ve had! Men were weeping as they were healed and we had two teenagers released from deep pain and trauma as they held onto David, sobbing for over half an hour each, in front of the whole church, and a little Indian boy, about 3 years of age, ran into his arms, to be held, as he sobbed and wailed – we found out later his mother attempted suicide whist carrying him.
The transformation in the students from daytime class has been wonderful to see.
Thank you SO MUCH for all your email messages and Facebook entries – we have enjoyed hearing your news and staying connected! We made a good friend here from America, and have so enjoyed spending time with her each Sunday afternoon, enjoying Starbucks and fellowship, before we worshipped together at Joseph Prince’s church. It was good to get some good worship and spiritual input in the middle of giving out so much!
Each Sunday in July, David has been covering for the pastor at Destiny Church where we 
normally minister when in Singapore, whilst he is away. The two David’s are so much alike they even chose the same glasses from the same store without knowing it!! We love it there and it feels like coming home each time. To be asked to do this was a real honour and we’ve had great times with our friends there.
One Sunday, David spoke on the Jewish betrothal process and how Jesus fulfilled that in the gospels. A Jewish psalmist came to the meeting to hear the message and we asked him to do a song before and after David spoke, and he blessed the people and the nation with “the Lord bless you and keep you...” at the end of the meeting in Hebrew. It was an excellent time and the
place was standing room only!

Our schedule allowed us to have our 26th wedding anniversary off last Thursday. We were treated to High Tea at The Raffles Hotel, followed by a flight on the Singapore Flyer – the world’s largest observation wheel. We had a great day on our own and thank you for cards and email messages!
June 13 - 30

Thankfully we slept on the plane for a while as we were in for some disturbed nights! A spiritual battle started here three days before our arrival and was still raging when we touched down. The pastor’s opening words at the airport were “I need to bring you up to date with events here...” Thank you to the intercessors who prayed us and the church through this one. There is still a way to go but good progress is being made.
David has now completed the first week of the International School of the Overcomers, and there are around 24 students who have come from nations all over Asia. He has now spoken at two Sunday morning meetings for the church & with the foundation built, people are receiving personal ministry and seeing breakthrough happening.

It was a key time for the church, with a new leader in place and entering a summer of seeking the Lord for direction and strategy for the church. The meeting had the same focus as Yemen, and David was joined by a prophetic team from Glasgow for the Saturday afternoon. This turned the
rest of the day into spiritual warfare and personal ministry time. The testimonies are still coming in, but there were a number of key breakthroughs and one significant deliverance.
David also had the joy of seeing Rob who was his closest friend growing up & the best man at our wedding, in the Saturday morning meeting. They got to have lunch together and some fellowship. It’s been too long since David last saw him, and a great blessing to see Rob and the family through the other side of their major battle!

back together again! We met up again in London, after Jacqueline had a great time with her sister in Los Angeles, surviving a minor earthquake in the process (David’s still never experienced one!). We drove straight to Manchester and had a great time with Mum and Dad and seeing friends at their church. It was a short visit for David and a very busy one. Jacqueline was
able to spend time with her other sister, Janice, which was a blessings for them both. However long we visit Manchester for, it never seems long enough to see everyone!

Thank you for your prayers for this visit. It was a trip of firsts for David. First time he had been 
there for 14 days; the first time in Taiz; the first time in a Yemeni taxi; the first time on a motorbike; his first Yemen car crash; and more.
It is good to keep going back and seeing the growth in the people, hear what has happened since the last visit, and to continually build relationship. The theme was “Contending for Revival” and the Lord gave David a number of new messages for the people on this theme. One evening David prayed for the people in the meeting and realised one couple weren’t there – so he prayed for the Lord to release it to them & at that very moment, in another meeting on the other side of Sana’a, the Holy Spirit fell on them!
The second week David was in Taiz (where the photos were taken) teaching and ministering to missionaries on the front line. Those meetings, and the personal ministry times in‐between were very special, and saw some of the biggest healings and restorations that we’ve seen the Lord do! There were two significant ones that were very special to have witnessed!

It has been a really good visit here and we were made really welcome. The worship has been excellent; the Wednesday morning Bible studies insightful and enjoyable; and the prayer times anointed. The steaks and ribs were amazing; the ice cream will be missed; and the countryside beautiful. It is the first place, anywhere in the world, in 26 years, that both of us have immediately agreed that we could live! And as always we have loved being together and the slower pace of life! Jacqueline has made some good friends here in Texas and they all love her!

talk about a challenging start to the new year - lots of praying and sifting through invitations, lots of high points and blessings alongside some major challenges! been a testing season and at the end of the month what looked to be settled became VERY unsettled on many different fronts. the highs have been very high and the low have been very low! but the focus remains the same! learning to be at peace and unshaken in the storms - we are getting there!

David went to his first meeting with the Prophetic Roundtable for the UK. It was fun to be with over 20 other prophetic people from across the nation, as we spent the day together sharing what the Lord was showing us for the coming year.
he then went onto manchester to spend time with his parents before his dad's surgery on the 21st to remove one of his kidneys because of a tumor on it. *** UPDATE *** the surgery was succesful and despite a few minor setbacks, he is recovering at home until the new year.

so we are back home, catching up on work and the have completed the layout of the book I am writing called Answering the Call - must admit I am surprised how well it looks even with the notes in each chapter! This is the first time David's written a book so will be interesting to see how long it takes and what it looks like when it is finished!

we both headed off to the arab world for a week of meetings - it was Jacqueline's first time in that region and outside western nations - and after the initial shock, and buying the black robe and scarf they wear she felt a lot more comfortable! we were speaking and praying for people from lots of different nations - even a lot of soccer players from Nigeria and with a group of Indians and Indonesia who live and work in the country we visited.
We were teaching some of the inner healing course and a lot of people were healed and impacted by the love of Jesus. And yes, Jacqueline is thinking she will return next year!!

We spent the weekend in the middle of a field with 1500 other noisy Christian celebrating Jesus - though I admit we cheated by sleeping at a local farmhouse rather than braving it in a tent! This was the best camp yet for resource sales and a great time to see people we meet there each year. It was the first one Jacqueline was at for a few years, so people were really happy to see her!

David went to America to attend a prophetic conference for three days. It was an intense time of receiving and teaching, but also time with friends and the speakers. One of our friends was travelling in America and shared a room with David which gave them time together.

We love going to this special group of people who meet once a month on the east coast of England. David spoke in the morning and afternoon and then he was joined by a local pastor to pray for everyone at the meeting including two unsaved men. One of the men became a Christian the next day!

David joined our friends for three daytime meetings. He shared some of the revelation the Lord has been giving him and then in the first two meetings, he and Liz who leads the group prayed for everyone in the meetings and there was some great healings. In the third meeting they prayed for David as well, which has really helped him

David travelled to speak at different meetings across the Quad Cities on the Illinois & Iowa borders. This trip was full of "firsts" - first time ministering in America - first time ministering in a Foursquare church - first time speaking at a city wide intercession meeting - first time speaking at a pastors & leaders meeting (must be getting old!!) - first time the flight home was delayed 24 hours - the first time on a Harley Davidson!! The worship times were excellent and the church extremely welcoming. It's going to be fun to see the fruit from the visit!

25th wedding anniversary
we took almost a week off to rest and were blessed with the free use of a friends home on the Dorset coast. The weather was excellent and we spent many hours walking the beaches (and collecting stones) in the early summer sunshine.

spent a few great days at a conference with Paul Keith Davis, Bobby Conner and Marc Dupont. It was great to see spend time with Paul Keith again as we drove to and from the airport, as well as to catch up on what we were seeing/hearing about the Lakeland. The worship at the conference was excellent and we both got prayed for!

Originally this was going to be two weekends of meetings teaching the Healing Life’s Hurts course and ministering to people. At the Alabama conference two weeks ago, something changed where the evening meetings were concerned and the way the course was set up. In New Zealand 10 days ago the Lord spoke one of the clearest words I have had about what is breaking out at the moment around the world based on scripture.
The daytime sessions are still inner healing focused but there is no agenda for the night & Sunday meetings at all. Unexpectedly a worship group came together of people who have never played before, and they’ve played 3 meetings a day, learning as they go!!
wednesday – bye bye
We leave Melbourne for Singapore today, arriving there Wednesday night. Thursday is totally clear for some down time and then the meetings start Friday night, continuing all day Saturday and then closing Sunday morning.
tuesday night – passing through the gates
David spoke from Isaiah 62 on passing through the open gate and closing old gates behind us. We prayed over those with Spirits of Despair, and then for everyone in the meeting. Around midnight as we were praying for a lovely blind man, this incredible presence and heat came into the meeting and that everyone felt. Many of the youth were still there and again were affected by the presence of God – to see the transformation of so many hurting & damaged young people over the weeks as they have been to most of the meetings night after night, has been one of great joys of the time here.
monday night – sowing for ‘09
David spoke about sowing into revival this year for a harvest in 2009. The Lord spoke to him from Leviticus 25:22 about sowing in the eighth year (’08) to have a large harvest in the ninth year (’09). People came up at the end of the meeting and sowed into the outpouring that is taking place here, and the commitments people made to the Lord (in notes left on the platform) were amazing & the fruit from that will change a lot in people’s lives and for the church
friday - sunday may 23/25 – mark davidson
Jacqueline really enjoyed being able to listen to Mark’s teaching on Song of Solomon and it was good for us to hear the teaching again. We still had queues of people wanting ministry at the end of each meeting and there were some great healings & powerful releases that took place each meeting. One lady had a huge release when the Lord revealed Freemasonry in her background and that was broken off – her husband said he’s got his wife back!!! (PS – they just got another touch from the Lord on the last night too!)
thursday may 22 – night off
David really felt the need to stay away from the meeting tonight so that people’s focus was on receiving from Mark & Rebecca, after two weeks of him ministering. It also gave him the chance to rest for a night and to fight off the physical attack that started Tuesday night.
wednesday may 21 – passing the hammer
Tonight David spoke about the difference betweens Sons and Orphans and built a platform for Mark to start to share on the Bride of Christ and Intimacy. As an illustration of the security that comes from being a son, he closed his notes, took his stuff off the lectern and handed the plastic hammer to Mark, before sitting down on his seat to wait for Mark to start sharing!
One man wrote a testimony that a few days later in the early hours of the morning, the Lord released him from significant pain and anger from his childhood, and that this was the third major release he had received over the 3 weeks of ministry! His wife was enjoying the changes in her husband!!
tuesday may 20 – hope restored
Our friends Mark & Rebecca arrived today to take over speaking from Thursday night and it was lovely to be with them again and to meet Naomi their daughter. In the evening there were lots of testimonies from people who were healed and set free on the Sunday night. Word was out about what happened Sunday night and we’ve had a queue of people wanting prayer for Shock & Trauma at the end of each meeting.
David spoke from Ezekiel 37 about prophesying to our dry bones (broken dreams, promises, barren areas, etc.) and at the end we had three teams ministering to everyone in the meeting & it still took 3 hours to pray for everyone.
One lady who’d come from the other side of Australia got a significant physical healing and one of youth was wonderfully set free from a major stronghold in her life. We are slowly adding the testimonies to the website (www.freemi.org/praise.htm)
sunday night may 18 – best night yet!!!
This was probably the most powerful meeting where David has ever been the speaker at. Over 130-150 people were in the meeting from churches all over Melbourne and beyond. He taught on Shock & Trauma and showed a cancer healing miracle DVD clip. After corporately praying over everyone, David prayed individually for everyone in the meeting, over the next 5 hours – finishing at 1am - and less than 10 people left before they got prayer (that’s still less than 3 minutes a person)!!
The anointing and authority was at level he’s not seen before as he broke the power of trauma, fear, grief and other areas off people’s lives, along with the buried pain in some cases all the way back to childhood. We’re continuing to pray for a lovely Aborigine man who is blind for his sight to be restored and a lady was in the meeting who doctors believe has ovarian cancer, a couple of people with mental health illnesses and some with fragmented personalities.

David took the church family through the revelation he’s shared at the first revival meeting but with more insight into what the Lord was doing in and through the church now and in the future, affirming the leadership and preparing the people for the increase and changes that are coming! Some of the children want to stay in the main meeting because of the presence of God and to see what will happen!
saturday night may 17 – isaiah 35
The presence of the Lord came into the meeting so strongly that many were on their faces before the Lord including David who crawled to the stand to speak! He shared on “consecration and holiness” and there was a word of knowledge about healing hands, legs and feet, and many were touched.
One man who came forward for healing of his knees testified “Since having a heart attack 18 months ago, I have had a slight heaviness in my chest. After prayer, the heaviness has all gone.“
friday night may 16 – oops!!
Sometimes we learn lessons by getting things right & other times by us missing it. The anointing came in really strongly during praise and worship & we missed the transition into the message and ministry. As worship went on, the anointing lifted. David openly admitted that he’d blown it, but that being led by the Spirit sometimes means we get it wrong, but there is Grace to cover it. He shared for about 30 minutes on us needing to move with “The Spirit of..” rather than “The Gift of….” if we are to do the greater works. It was a blessing to hear that people were touched and set free even during the repentance and prayer time, as we committed. Seems some hadn’t heard leaders repent publicly like that before when things go wrong in meetings.
friday & saturday may 16/17 – daytime session
Today saw the start of a 21 day fast for what the Lord is doing during the revival meetings that are happening. These sessions focused on more of the Healing Life’s Hurts course, with us ministering in another 6 areas, including Fear, Control, Vows and Word Curses, Soul Ties and others. The ministry times were very good and many people were set free, including some of the youth.
thursday may 15 – healing life’s hurts part 2
The worship time was very anointed & it will stay being led by whoever comes to a meeting on the night and is mainly young people who just want to sing and play. An angel of breakthrough came into the meeting (David walked right into him which was hilarious to watch what happened!!) and opened a door to a higher level of praise & worship. This is another facet of what the Lord is building here that is now in place. Many had deeper levels of healing and release.
wednesday may 14 – jacqueline arrived!!!
I spoke on “Donkeys with Talents” (Parable of the Talents and Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem) and there was a huge amount more freedom and joy in the meeting. The presence of God came down in a tangible way and the ministry time was one of the most powerful, with lots of people being healed as the Lord - one man in particular was deeply touched as the pain of many years was released.
A word was given in the meeting (and confirmed later via email from another city) that the next three weeks are going to be key for the move that has started here & for people to get behind it. We are looking at calling a 21 day fast from Friday to help bring this in. A friend in the States as given a word that the roof is about to be ripped off and power encounters are coming! Yes Lord!!!!
Two side observations: it never would have occurred to me to hold nightly spirit led meetings where the focus of most of the ministry time was inner healing, and still people come from all over; secondly that we would have so many youth from 13 upwards coming each night and receiving ministry night after night – some are getting huge releases and are going to be radically on fire for God as people see the change in them – this new generation is arising!
And yes, Jacqueline arrived during the meeting and is settling in. Having her here is going to add another dimension to the ministry times.
tuesday may 13 – battle night!!
Interesting night as it was hard going all through the meeting. A weight came into the meeting that help back the worship and the message. Having said that, in the ministry time at the end, one young person coming back to the Lord and a number of significant inner healings took place.
monday may 12 - all change
Today is a day off for everyone
These have been some of the most powerful meetings I can remember being involved with for a long while – the significant spiritual changes taking place over lives, the church and the city. Strongholds are falling and the presence of God is increasing meeting upon meeting, to the point where it is becoming tangible. Miracles next!!
With all this happening, I have committed to being in Melbourne for at least the next 16 days, and for 14 days of these there will be meetings. There will be no visit to Sydney now and am having to change the Singapore dates too. The current plan is to leave May 28 for Singapore, but a number feel my involvement will be for longer than that. Time will tell.
A number of the people in the church here have amazingly paid for Jacqueline to come down to Australia to spend the rest of the time here – one couple paid over half her fare alone! This has been a huge blessing for us and she leaves London tomorrow (Tuesday) and arrives Wednesday night. No more early morning phone calls!
sunday may 11 night – baptism night
The Lord spoke about the need for people to be baptised in the Holy Spirit again (Acts 4) and this time with power to do the “greater works”. I only found out it was Pentecost during the message!!! We ended up praying for about 15 people to be baptised for the first time and everyone else in the building. One girl was healed of a damaged pelvis/leg/lower spine from a snow boarding accident a year ago & one of the youth had a major healing from past traumas, that will be a huge testimony to the other youth.
sunday may 11 morning – father heart of god
The same presence that was there at the end of Saturday night was still in the building (and the people!). I spoke on the Father Heart of God (on Mothers Day!!) and like most sessions sharing some of my own healing testimony. Testimonies are only just starting to come in from how that impacted people, but the ministry time at the end went on for ages and I never made it to everyone. We are looking at how to do ministry with more and more coming to the meetings.
saturday may 10 night – history makers
It’s impossible to capture all that happened. The Lord had given me a message on “History Makers” which turned into honouring the fathers of the faith from the Bible and also from Martin Luther till today. In the prayer/repentance time at the end, we repented of judgements against other denominations/ streams, cancelling debts owed and blessing them with increase & favour. In broking the spirit of Freemasonry off the church and people in the area, instantly the presence of God fell, with such weight, that it slowly descended down to the floor and many/most were on their faces for almost an hour of total silence. People were being healed and set free all over the church, and it was like that in side rooms too. The youth, many of whom had only just come back to the Lord a few weeks ago, were blown away by what happened (and their own silence!!) that they are now coming to all the meetings and the Lord is healing deep hurts with them.
saturday may 10 – healing life's hurts
After the night before there was a lot more freedom and expectancy with the 50/60 people there (we’ve now opened up the daytime sessions to people to come without the need to sign up to everything). I spoke on Forgiveness (morning) and Rejection (afternoon) from the course. The forgiveness session was very good and many were healed because of that.
friday may 9 night – worship & warfare
The worship went on for three hours, mixed in with prophecy and warfare. The amount of revelation, discernment and power was not something I’ve been a part of before – it was hard to stand and speak at times because of the presence of God. Three major releases happened, including the removal of a strong demonic principality over the city and a release of an authority over diseases. I never got to speak, but led the warfare and release waves. Three people were healed without being prayed for.
friday may 9 daytime – healing life's hurts
I did the introduction to the Healing Life’s Hurts course and then Generational Blessings and Curses sessions from the school. A number of people were healed, including a mother and daughter of generational shame – the mother being set free on the other side of the church as I prayed for the daughter.

I spoke on the vision for the course and released the revelation the Lord gave me in Orama, New Zealand . It was a great first night and the presence of the Lord was very strong
