Freedom International
The formation of Freedom International came about from a word the Lord spoke to David in 1997 but it took quite a few years - 7 in fact - for the ministry to finally begin and it is still evolving.
The commission can be covered in one simple phrase - "releasing people into their divine destiny". In short helping them to become who God created them to be (rather than to do!).
So our focus covers these main areas:
- The Prophetic/Revelatory realm
- Inner Healing and Physical Healing
- Hosting conferences and sharing speakers with other ministries across the nations
- The provision of training and equipping resources through different means
In September 2004, through a series of "God incidents" we ended up hosting our first conference in London. Many of the people who came to this powerful weekend have become friends and colleagues, and look back to this conference as the day something changed forever in their lives.
In setting up Revival Resources, the Lord gave us the passage from John 21, where he re-instates Peter and commissions him to "feed my sheep" and "feed my lambs". So much of our ministry is covered by these two phrases.
We are part of a growing, informal, network of church ministries which are in relationship with each other, building and supporting each other. There is no membership, no committees, no organisation, just mutual relationship around sharing what we have, together.
Today, David increasingly speaks at churches and conferences around the world, building up, equipping, encouraging and releasing the Lord's healing power.
David moves in the prophetic & healing gifts and has been used by God to bring directional & strategic words to individuals, churches and nations.
Freedom continues to host conferences in the UK in both the prophetic/revelatory and healing areas, bringing in speakers from across the world to build up the church. At the end of 2007, we will begin to organise and host conferences in New Zealand.
In September 2007 we are launching our Internet Television ministry. The first one will be "The Supernatural Channel" providing broadcasting 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as well as an "on demand service" for those who want this. Every nation will get 3 or 4 hours of broadcasting a day, so it is not timezone dependent, and whatever time you start watching you will still get to see all the shows that day!
And we have plans to start another on-line TV station on healing, having just acquired "www.healing.tv" to broadcast training and healing ministry programmes via the internet
